Okay, I sympathise, the internet is full of BS, folks betting you will buy into their hype.

So am I any different? Good Question. Put "make money online" into Google or a similar search engine -- and you will be told:-

"Here is The Secret That No-One is Telling You",

and you will be DELUGED with "how I made $575,000 inside one week" type of stuff. 

Amazing isn't it...

....that ALL these folks, having found the secret to making loads of money online (at last), are now falling over themselves to tell you about it -- and hence share the profits with you for a mere $47 or so....

....Ain't They Generous?"

Why do folks keep selling this? Because they know folks like you and I are desperate to believe that we can become financially dependant on-line.

Everyone is selling "here is my product/approach to make the same kind of money that I'm making"

So why are they telling you? Answer. They are ACTUALLY making money by selling YOU how to make money. They are NOT making money by the products they are selling you - THEY are making money by selling "make money solutions...

The old classic "teach a man to fish and he will feed his family for a life-time" is alive and well.

So what you *really* want is a product that you can OWN -- and then sell on to others SO THAT THEY CAN MAKE MONEY...

Then YOU'LL be in the Driving Seat and make money from selling others how to make money....

Have you GOT That?

Guess What?!!! I'm about to give you Life Time Rights To Such a Product...

I've made enough, and sharing my secret with you won't steal a single cent from me -- there is soooo much room for everybody -- I'm almost blushing...

As I write on this bright Monday morning, I'm sitting here in a training seminar. Fact is, I'm coaching a newbie and he needs to practice. He's presenting up to tuesday lunchtime then I'm taking over for the rest of the week.

Okay, so here I am listening while typing. What's that? I should be concentrating on him full time you say?

Well -- NO actually. One of the skills of coaching is actually letting go. Letting the other person make a few mistakes and learn from them. Just be there to bring them back on track if needed -- and give feedback of course.

You see, children and adults learn by doing, it's hard-wired into our brain. I want him to feel a little nervous, make small errors, have a blank moment every now and then, forget the odd fact or three, and make the ocassional goof.

Every bone in my body is screaming "butt-in, tell hime where he's going wrong, spoon feed him, etc". And end up with a puppet instead of a trainer...

Which brings me to the point of this blog entry.

I'm the wrong side of 60 years old, and at a point in my life where (as a younger man), I expected to be taking it easy...

But the reverse is true -- I'm ON FIRE!!

Even if I'd have just stood on street corners, I'd have absorbed masses of Life-Skills. As it was, I've hoovered up masses of data in the form of:

• KNOWLEDGE
• SKILLS
• EXPERIENCE

The glue that binds our society together in fact...

I promise you -- inside your head -- right now-- is a goldmine of information.

I just got back from a meal in an Italian Restaurant in Swindon. It was okay. The service was better than the food....

It was owned by a guy who is just about hanging on by his financial fingernails.

A perfect example of a local business person trying their best to survive. I sparked off from him the second he showed me to my seat. His waiter had not turned up, and he was keeping the flag flying....

I got my brandy in a Whisky glass - no big problem. The first botle of wine was sour - the second (which he didn't charge me for, was smooth...)

We got chatting, and we both told of our backgrounds. Turns out he is wanting to do different things...

I said that the Internet was a possibility for him to make some money in these difficult times. What he replied made me smile and give a boost to the human race - that's you. No, he's not a multi-millionaire....

He bought up a stock of used FIREDOORS, and sold them online to businesses and made a decent profit. Put the darned things up on Ebay.

How do you get the link between an Italian restaurant to firedoors? 

I've no idea, but it's a great example of thinking outside the box. But it shows more than that. In this pernicious Recession - there's always a market for something.

I can remember an earlier boss of mine who that said the Second World War in the UK made him vital income - money - he bought cars from folks who couldn't get petrol, and selling them to folks who could. And that was in an environment where 1000's of poor folks were loosing their lives...

If you are worried about your financial future, would you pay precious money to find a way that would keep the roof over your head?

Of course you would. You'd sell yer granny.....That's The Business I'm Moving Into.

It's as old as Egypt's Pharos -- without giving away your FirstBorn or selling your body (yeeuucchhh!)

This will be brief.

Sell and Market Yourself.

If you need to get a new job, then use the Internet.

Okay, so do the usual stuff - local agency, job interviews, etc...

So maybe you're not the very best at what you do. No Problem. Most of us aren't.

I had a great career surrounded by others who where "better" than me. But I survived. Take a respected profession - for example Judges. Phew - what a responsibility.

Were they coached from birth. No. They may have had some advantages over you and I - but strip them down naked - give them a beer (or whatever), and stand you and them together.

Start Talking.

Ignore accents. Ignore education. Listen. They are just talking life experience - as are you....

That's why the Editor of a Daily Paper wields the power they do - just an opinion...

The best people I have ever employed are those who did TWO things well... Listen Up.

They MANAGED CHANGE AND THEY MANAGED RISK. If you've got this - you've got potential !!!!

And consider this....

Online. Looks Professional. Looks entrepreneurial. 

Can you make a simple one-page web site?

Can you purchase a domain name?

Can you "market yourself online"?

Could you write some articles or blogs?

Or none of the above.

Check out countries that are looking for skills that you have (even if for a temporary time).

I'm writing this moments after my last blog entry.

Why?

Because I'm on fire, that's why. You may have to wait for days before I blog again.

Why?

Because I'm not a machine. and I refuse to write about "anything" just to keep my blog active. This is NOT a diary - it is a communication.

I'm on the cusp of a tipping point. All you KNOW of the recession is what the "Media" are telling you.

They are only telling you the bad news. I'll bet right now you think the whole world is going down the toilet.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Not a single Government is burning money right now.

Not a single person is storing money uner their mattress. The money is STILL THERE.

All that is happening, is that RICH FOLKS are holding onto their money and only spending it when a bargain comes along.

When you read "$$$Millions Wiped Off The Stock Market" what it really means is that "$$$Millions Exchanged Hands On The Stock Market"

You see, the stock market is a Zero Sum Game. One mans loss is another mans gain (ditto ladies!)

Recession Is Only Folks Keeping Their Cash In Their Own Pockets

So your bank is asking why you can't pay this months mortgage?

Me Too. Sheeshh am I frightened. Do you feel trapped? Me Too. But - no - not really.

The only thing that separates me from you, is that I think I can change the way I put food on my families table.

Crazy? I don't think so. Let me give you some ideas (don't stop at my list - keep writing......)
