Meet Dave Litten

Trainer | Coach | Mentor

Hey there, I'm Dave Litten, your go-to project management mentor with over three decades of hands-on experience turning complex projects into smooth successes. As a certified PMP holder, PRINCE2 Practitioner, and MSP expert, I've spent my career diving deep into agile methodologies, risk management strategies, and stakeholder engagement to help teams deliver results that stick.

From leading high-stakes IT implementations and business transformations in the UK to coaching aspiring project managers worldwide, I've seen it all - and I love sharing the shortcuts that make a real difference. Whether you're prepping for your PMP exam, mastering PRINCE2 processes like Starting Up a Project or Managing Product Delivery, or just looking to level up your agile project management skills, I'm here to cut through the jargon and build your confidence.

Through my downloadable training labs, personalized PRINCE2 coaching sessions, and practical resources on everything from project governance to earned value analysis, I've guided thousands of professionals to not just pass their certifications but thrive in dynamic environments. Based in sunny Spain now, but with a global mindset, I'm passionate about empowering you to lead projects that drive innovation and growth.

Dave Litten 1985

I’ve been doing this a long time — and I still love it.
Over the last few decades, I’ve helped thousands of professionals around the world pass their PMP®, PRINCE2®, and Agile exams. But I don’t just help people pass — I help them truly understand project management so they can use it in the real world.
I’ve worked across engineering, IT, marketing, and finance — leading teams, delivering complex projects, and coaching people at all stages of their careers. That hands-on experience is what shapes every course I teach at Projex Academy.

About Me V2 1

Music has always been a big part of my life.
Long before I was teaching project management, I was playing guitar, singing in bands, and collecting instruments. For me, music and project work have a lot in common — both need structure, timing, and a little creativity to make things flow.
I’ve always believed in bringing personality and rhythm into everything I do — whether that’s teaching Earned Value Management or strumming a blues riff in the garden.

About Me V2 2
About Me V2 3

These days, I live a quiet life in the Spanish countryside with my wife and our two rescue dogs. I still teach, write, and film new training from our villa (you might even hear birds or barking in the background sometimes!).
I believe in building a life of freedom, flexibility, and purpose — and I’m passionate about helping others do the same, one course at a time.
